I was raised in the broader Twin Cities metro area by my mother, Jane, an accomplished bassist, and my father, Eric, a horns & more virtuoso. (They met as he joined her funk group “The Jane Gang” in 80s Minneapolis). While they may or may not agree, musical competence and dedication wasn’t up for debate. Surrounded by rhythm, I developed a focused proficiency with the kit. In 2012, I joined the the pop effort Strange Names . We released a couple EPs - one of which on White Iris (now apart of Ring The Alarm). The last decade saw a move to NYC where we released two albums on Frenchkiss Records (Bloc Party, Passion Pit). [Strange Names is now on indefinite hiatus]

Currently, I am drumming for the NYC-based group Ray Bull.

In and amongst all that, I’m steadily composing my certain breed of flavor for international film and fashion media, short film and documentaries.

You can find reels and credits showcasing my range of clientele in the tabs above.

On the flipside, I explore the underbelly of abstract electronic jazz and braindance with my solo project - through which I’ve released a few albums on the labels Always Human Tapes (Minneapolis) and Hellscape Recordings (Detroit).

And most importantly - check out my ongoing concept film soundtrack mix series Sci-Faux, through which I’ve released a curated collaborative book/album that you’re going to wish you were apart of: Tricky.
